G_96747556Crooked teeth can make people conscious of their smile, but there are various solutions.

Unfortunately most treatments take 18 months – 2 ½ years with conventional fixed or clear braces, and are very costly and time consuming.

6 month smiles are faster treatments compared to normal fixed braces, the goal of 6 Month Braces is to give you a smile you can be proud of in a reasonable amount of time.

This is because it works on straightening the teeth, and doesn’t work on the jaw positioning and the ‘bite’ of the teeth. So only the cosmetic aspect of your smile is treated. Your front teeth (that show when you smile) move faster than your back teeth. So the treatment stops once the front teeth are positioned in a cosmetically pleasing arrangement. So, the rate of tooth movement is the same, but the total treatment time is faster – about 6 months.

Six Month Smiles are appropriate for correcting spaces, gaps, mildly crooked, or crowded teeth. If the teeth that show in your smile aren’t straight, 6 Month Braces may be the perfect solution for you.

As with all orthodontic treatments, retention is used afterwards to prevent the teeth moving back to their original position.
